Skiing in the holiday region Kufstein...
On the slopes - get set - go! With more than 90 lifts, skiers and snowboarders can conquer the mountain in the nearby "SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental", one of the largest contiguous skiing areas in Austria. Families and all those who prefer things a little less fast will find ideal slopes in Thierseetal: in the "Tirolina" ski area as well as by the Hager and Sonnseit lifts. Ski buses to the nearby Bayrischzell ski area are also available.
Fun on the slopes is given right of way in and all around the Kufstein holiday region. The region can call itself the gateway to the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental, the largest interconnected ski area in Austria (with over 90 cable cars and lifts and 280 kilometres of slopes), but also offers a fine range of ascent aids for skiers and snowboarders who are just beginning their "careers" and want to start off slowly and not too steep. The Hager- and Haltjoch lift in Thiersee or the Zahmer Kaiser - Durchholzen ski area are among the latter category and considered absolute "enthusiasts' slopes".
